In downtown New Haven, Connecticut, while we were pulling out of our parking space, an irate transvestite wound up and enthusiastically flipped someone the bird, one, two, a third time. She then crossed the street to shake a Bible and shout. The Downtown Ambassador came out of a store with his children and with a dismissive gesture he seemed quite accustomed to, told her to move on down the line. With that, we too, were on the road again.
